U.S. Lumber Coalition files petition in ongoing softwood lumber dispute

The U.S. Lumber Coalition filed a petition on Friday for the U.S. Department of Commerce to impose duties on softwood lumber shipments from Canada. Conform Ltd, a private woodlot management company in Nova Scotia, has expressed concern about what the economic impact of new tariffs would be on Nova Scotia.
